Join Us for AWMF's 2nd Annual Walk & Run
Arise and Walk Ministries Foundation invites you to join us for our Annual Walk/Run event to raise funds to support medical missions in Africa, Haiti, and other
Third World countries. During these past eight years, Arise and Walk has raised funds through the generosity of partners, friends and family. In addition, we sponsor an Annual Thanksgiving Bene?t Awards Gala. Arise & Walk has provided medical care to over 50,000 people in Africa, donated a medical van to a Haitian Clinic, assisted in over 45 medical missions overseas, provided medical relief to Hurricane Katrina victims in Louisiana, and medical relief to tsunami victims in South East Asia.
In 2008, we aim to participate and assist in eight missions trips where we want to provide medical, dental and hospital supplies. With your help we can expand and continue this life-saving work. On Saturday, May 17th between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., AWMF will host its Walk/Run Event in Votee Park, Teaneck, NJ. Please join us by raising at least $10.00 for registration to receive your registration badge, lunch, and water bottles. Prizes will be given to the person who brings in the most friends and who raises the most funds. For more information, please call AWMF at (201) 825-3073. If you are unable to attend, you can still help save lives by giving a donation. Your pledge is tax deductible and will be greatly appreciated!
For those unable to attend you can donate online. Please use our secure donation form.

2008 AWMF Goals
Dear Friends and Partners:
I hope that 2008 brings you health, happiness and prosperity! Here at the Arise and Walk Ministries Foundation (AWMF) office we are busy arranging the activities for this year and would like to share our plans with you to recruit your support to help with this ministry work. Every year we make ambitious plans to assist people around the world that live in object poverty. AWMF is on the front lines helping tens of thousands of people through overseas missions. We will participate in several international mission trips spearheaded by outstanding American based churches and/or ministries. We are also involved with identifying and selecting outstanding missions programs and rewarding their heroic efforts with a financial award. Three outstanding organizations/ministries were recognized in November at the foundation’s gala and each of them received $5,000.00 to support their wonderful work. With our website and our friends communicating the fact that AWMF will grant a financial award to three deserving ministries each year, as you can imagine, the applications for the Arise and Walk Ministries Foundation International Missions Award are being received in higher numbers than ever before.
This is the year of new beginnings and we are prayerfully seeking God’s direction for AWMF. As friends and supporters, your advice and suggestions for AWMF are important as well. Many times we feel overworked and overwhelmed with the task God has given us, but find joy in knowing that this expression of love towards our brothers and sisters in third world countries is done as unto the Lord. We can’t do all this without your support. If you have not joined us at one of the Arise and Walk Ministries Foundation Benefit Awards Dinners, please make plans to attend this year. The foundation’s dinner will be held on Friday, November 21st, 2008 at the Marriott Glenpointe Hotel in Teaneck, NJ. We hope to see you there!
We have enclosed AWMF’s 2008 tentative itinerary of events for you to review. As you can see, God is greatly “enlarging our territory” of impact, assistance and influence. Please pray and see how God directs you to lend your support. As always, please feel free to call our office at (201) 825-3073 if you would like to take part in any mission activities or are impressed to lend your support in any manner. And remember, your financial support is critical to our success and deeply appreciated. Enclosed is our self addressed envelope for your financial “gift of life” for the work ahead of AWMF this year. Give your best gift now and keep us in your prayers. We love you with the love of the Lord and may He keep you healthy and prosper everything that you put your hands to do this new year and in years to come!
In His Service,
Mark J. Wade, M.D.
President/C.E.O.
